Putting on my Venture Agent hat for this- The Sarfinder Free RPG day adventure Battle for Nova Rush's chronicle is your first opportunity to earn a Starfinder Society 2e chronicle, and registering it before September 5th does count towards unlocking your Skittermander. However, the sanctioing is only for the Starfinder Player Core, not the playtest version, so you'll have to wait until the end of July to actually play a Skittermander character.
