It's been two+ months since the last post from Black Dow, any updates on this? I was really lookin forward to playin Lady Frost!

Hey man - Happy New Year
Yeah I'm working away in the background on this one - trying to finalise the setting more and also introduce some houserules.
Bare with - might be a month or so from now, but am hoping for a relaunch post Superbowl time.
I'll drip feed some content here as campaign setting has altered a little but am pretty excited about the ideas. Will likely also PM the previous crew to gauge interest and consider rebuilds.
Will drop you a line about Lady Frost once I've nailed down all the new content MG.

Sorry all - this one has taken much longer than planned - I've went down a ton of rabbit-holes!
In short I'm designing a Bronze/early Iron Age rules sub-set (tentatively called Tarnished Heroes), in conjunction I've created a setting/history/prelude scenario to bring you all together.
Now this all may require redesigns of the PCs (not the base concepts per say) as power levels will be more street initially.
We're still a way off (as there is a large volume of content) but am excited to relaunch down the line. Will reach out to everyone closer to the time to see whose still interested as campaign content and tie-ins will be important.
Rest assured the game will be worth waiting for :)
I am still very much here, and still very excited to play Lady Frost! Though, it sounds like maybe she'll possibly have her icy powers nerfed? That would kinda be a bummer, but not enough to make me not wanna play.
Hey MG - not at all. Her icy powers will still be at the heart of her concept.
Characters rationales (origins in Golden Hero speak) will have a foundation of either legacy or anomaly. See characters like Storm Laird and Lady Frost as great examples of legacy (bloodline or device) while anomaly has characters like Whiteface or Sysgofd as prime candidates...
New rules might even give you more leeway the originals didn't as I'm mulling having a halfway house between Powers and Advantageous Backgrounds - something like talents (still not sure on what to call them).
I've designed and am statting up the intro adventure and using the "talents" where villains are less "super" but still a threat.
While powers will be an open house, the choice of rationale will open up Background and "Talent" options.
