Archetypes for Starfinder 2e

Has there been any discussion on archetypes for Starfinder 2e? Wonder if there will be any additional archetypes then just the core classes. Would be nice to see some from the some archetypes from some of the other books or will that be included in another book like Player Core 2?

The Galaxy Guide releasing tomorrow is confirmed to include the following 6 archetypes: AbadarCorp Rep, Space Pirate, Hellknight, Knight of Golarion, Xenoarchaeologist, and Xenowarden. Discussed: in this blogpost.

I doubt the Starfinder Player Core itself will have archetypes beyond the multiclass archetypes for its classes, mostly because that's not how Pathfinder Player Core did it.

Does the AbadarCorp Rep work as a general corpo-rep, or is there stuff specific to AbadarCorp in there? (being that AbadarCorp is both a company AND a church)

No, there's no requirement to work for AbdarCorp, and the feats themselves only refer to "Your Company". Although it's definitely beneficial for some feats for your corporation to be as famous as possible.

I was just wondering if any of the feats had a religious/divine undertone to them, given the nature of AbadarCorp, but good to know it is worded so that re-flavor wouldn't be a problem.

Indeed. Dedication name aside, the archetype is perfect for a representative of, say, Zo! Media or Zeizerer Munitions, right out of the box.

Since this seems like the place we're talking about the new archetypes...

I really like how they redid Hellknights. The bit allowing you to treat heavier categories of armor like the next-lowest version is really elegant, and makes qualifying for Hellknighthood so, so much easier for spellcasters.

I hope we see that language backported to PF2E when they get around to remastering the Hellknight archetypes.

Oh, and I like this idea that the orders have swapped out a specific weapon that is emblematic of their order with a damage type. It helps you customize your Hellknight more, if you want to follow the theme, giving more possible weapons it could connect to.
