Email customer service. Note that you will lose access to download purchased digital content and unless policies have changed in the past few years that all forum posts you made will remain intact.

Would forum posts be like those from a deleted character?—the post is intact, but there’s no avatar or linked profile?

I'm not sure if it's just as simple as a policy change, I think it had something to do with how the forums and store are linked together.
