On the end of book 2, in "Vanishings", it is said one NPC vanishes and more will vanish in the winter. There are 3 NPCs in risk of vanishing on the first scene of winter, but I didn't see anything else in the winter events that points to any vanishings.
Did I miss anything?

I'm a bit lost in finding this specific reference to "Vanishings" at the end of book 2 that you mention. Taking your post as entirely self contained, "more will vanish" is the same as saying "two more will vanish" though.
If I'm misreading or misunderstanding the question beyond that, please rephrase it (and maybe provide page number references?) and I'll try to give a more detailed response...

In any case, it seems I misread something in book 2 pg 25
In the description of the event of week 12, vanishings, it says "more of these vanishings will take place as the next adventure begins", which I seem to have mixed up with a later sentence to make me think this refers to something reccuring rather than just the exorcism of the Cloud Paper House at the start of winter
