One of my characters took Azlanti language (pre-remaster), as it seems to come up fairly frequently in 2e scenarios. I played a third year scenario today where you were practically required to have Azlanti language or lore. However, it appears that Azlanti in ANY form is now illegal.
Do our characters who ALREADY have one of the Azlanti skills mysteriously lose them? If so, what happens when we play a scenario that still has them for skill challenges?
It seems really unfair to require these skills in older scenarios, but you can't study them anymore or that your character loses access to skills they've already got and have been using.
Thanks

Can you elaborate a bit on what leads you to this conclusion, that they've become illegal?
I went through character options page and the guide, and I searched through PC1, PC2, and GMC and I can't find anything stating that azlanti language or lore has been made illegal, restricted, nor limited. (And AoN still lists it as Regional language.)
On that note, of the 4 scenarios in year 3 that mention azlanti, none of them actually require it - they all have easily accessible and common alternatives, with one even having an NPC that will translate for you.

Interesting. I use Herolab for my character creation and ever since I got the PC 2 remaster loaded, it's given me an error for Azlanti, which it didn't before. It says that my background doesn't allow it, but this wasn't an issue when I created the character. I found the problem. It was a Herolab mess up. It looks like my regional language got swapped with Azlanti. I switched them back and all is good.
