For me, that's a feature, not a bug
When I'm rolling dice IRL, I can see the result before I describe my reaction to that result. Same thing here.
1) I describe what my character is going to do
2) I roll the dice and calculate the result
3) I describe my character's reaction to that result
Why is seeing the result online before you describe your character's reaction any different than seeing it IRL?

I just had concerns about cheating. Imagine I typed in a die expression and hit Preview, then used the result to decide whether I was casting disintegrate or telekinetic projectile. In other words, the action taken is being falsified instead of the roll itself.
I'm told by another player in my PbP game that the honor system is used for the build-in dice roller.

Is there a way to hide dice results before I actually post?
Yes that's true. Does that create problems for you?
If you can't control the impulse to cheat, I'm not sure what to suggest.
One thing you might do is not click "Preview"
Another would be to ask the GM to roll for you
Or, ask another player to roll for you.
All in all, worrying about peeking at a result, and then editing your proposed actions to take advantage of the result, in a role-playing game with no scoring mechanism by which you can "win" doesn't seem to me to be a huge problem.
I simply don't see a lot of conflict in the PbP forums over cheating of any kind, much less that specific kind of 'preview' cheating.
If it's turning out to be a big issue in your game, talk to the GM about removing the cheating player. There are a lot more ways to cheat than simply looking at the outcome of a dice roll. Hiding a result isn't going to make a cheating player stop cheating.

No cheaters that I'm aware of, but I would rather this not even be possible. As a GM, I prefer to make all my rolls (except explicitly secret ones) public so that the players know that I didn't pull any punches with them. If I were to use this dice roller and then my players later found out the roll can be previewed, they might start doubting past victories.
Though, I guess you could get around this by posting a course of action, waiting for the post to become unable to be edited, then making a follow up post with the rolls.

I know where you are coming from, Superparkourio, by previewing it, a player could do something like use a magic missile spell instead of a Ray of Frost, or a Ray of Frost instead of magic missilepreview: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 preview: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 Ray of frost dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 2 confirm crit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 extra dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Or many other things they can do because they can preview other damage rolls or find another way aroundd8 damage spell: 1d8 ⇒ 8 extra dmg: 1d8 ⇒ 4
d12 damage spell: 1d12 ⇒ 11
But Even so, that is such minor minor cheating. I really don't think many players are going to go out of the way for this.
Also, if you are worried about Paizo cheating cause of dice rolls there is the option to host or play on discord, you can't preview dice there.
Again the other option is, players announce their actions, like I cast Ray of Frost at the enemy or I cast magic missile. The damage is 1d4+1 or 1d20+3 to hit and 1d3 cold. And the DM can roll the hit and damage if you are that worried about it.
