Hi,
Blanket Defense at level 14 has direct anti-synergy with Paragon's Guard. As a shield user, you would want to pick both those feats more often than not. So here is the simple fix proposal for Blanket Defense:
Make it cost 2 actions and change the Requirements to: You have your shield raised. Remove "Raise a Shield." from the description of this feat.

I fully agree with this. Unless there's a very specific reason why Paizo wanted to introduce anti-synergy between Paragon's Guard and Blanket Defense, making Blanket Defense a 2-action activity that requires you to have a shield raised would achieve the same baseline effects while working properly as part of a shield-centric build, which includes Paragon's Guard but also Shielding Taunt (which, weirdly enough, you'd probably want to retrain out of once you get Paragon's Guard, but that's another can of worms). I think there's other issues with the Guardian as well that strangely limit their ability to use their shield properly, as well as just a whole lot of anti-synergy going on with the class, but this looks like a simple fix that could easily make at least this build option for the class feel a lot better.

I noticed the anti-synergy to shield builds as well. Would love to see a lot more meticulous thought given to the interactions here. Shielded Attrition, Shielded Taunt, Blanket Defense, Paragon's Guard, all things shield users should want and all things that work not-at-all together.
