Pathfinder V1 SRD- Character Creation

Paizo General Discussion

The pathfinder V1 SRD has a section about Character Advancement. Under the rules of the OGL can this part be used in a published RPG 3.5-like retro clone RPG system?

The regular WOC 3.5 SRD has no Character Advancement chart with XP or otherwise. Their 5.1 SRD has a very basic chart. The PF SRD has it and I cant see anything that would restrict from using it and/or changing it to fit a PF compatible RPG?

It would seem PF found some way to get around not including character creation in their product just checking to see if it can then be used, if referenced properly as the OGL indicates.

With 3.5e WotC effectively declared character advancement outside the OGL, so it couldn't be reproduced. If you wanted (know when) to level you character, you had to buy the physical books or eventually PDF to know.

When Paizo produced Pathfinder, they created their own math for XP scaling and PC leveling.

I recognize that doesn't answer your question because I don't genuinely know if that particular content was published by Paizo under the OGL or is considered PI. But this might at least be interesting.
