How can I get the rare Background of Magical Experiment for a new character?

I have a new character I am working on and I would like to use the Magical Experiment background for her. I know it's rare however.

Is there something special I need to do to be able to use that background, it plays into the backstory I have in mind for her.

Rare backgrounds cannot be used in PFS2 unless granted by a boon (but not every rare thing has a boon that currently exists, and it might not ever exist).

Refer to the table on the character options page for explanation of how Rare works.

I did see that someone has suggested that this is something they'd like to see as a boon in the Boon suggestion thread.

That said, this looks pretty powerful in the mechanics that it grants. To me, it looks like the sort of thing that would show up as a charity boon (a boon people bid upon for real cash, all proceeds going to charity) rather than something that the devs would just make available as an ACP reward.

If it is the feel rather than the mechanics that appeals to you, perhaps we can find you another background that gives you a fun weird backstory without being overpowered?

Magical Experiment has the major drawback that it only gives one ability boost, and it's to Constitution. That's a pretty big hit, since it means you don't get to boost your key ability at the background stage.

...except that's not true any more, because of Kineticist. Still, even Kineticists are trading their second boost and their skill feat for it.
