Sorry what book has the rules for followers in SFS? My GoogleFu escapes me..
they're now a purchasable boon. You have to buy the boon before you can see the rules now. But in short you have a "guy in the chair" or a Geeves following you around that can make skill checks for you at increasing bonuses. (I guess the society is sending them to grad school for their help, or you keep getting better timmy's as you level)
Up above mouse over organized play
Move the mouse down and select "My organized play"
Sign in.
Up top below the light blue bar is the "Boons" Tab. Click that.
Where it says
Starfinder Society
You have XXX.00 Achievement Points - SFS.
Purchase for character: Drop down select your character
Below the dropdown menu appears "Rewards purchaseable with Achievement Points - SFS (click to expand)" Click to expand
Hirelings are the first ones on the list and you can see their bonuses. And how much they improve if you improve them. Each one comes with three related skills.
Click Purchase next to the one you want.
I had to refresh the page.
You should see "You purchased the boon "Basic Hireling Access".
Scroll down to the bottom of the page "Boons purchased for character"
On the right click "Download"
Download/open the file however your computer opens it.
This can be buggy and you may have to go back to the page a bit.
