Which is a bit hard for me to wrap my head around, but it's also described as being inspired by carbon ring molecules. So I picture it as a cluster of six freestanding antigrav pods, each capable of holding a single passenger, linked together by a framework that's ring-shaped from above but zig-zag from the side.
