Two questions about the AP

Kingmaker Second Edition

1 - A friend told me that it would be beneficial to have something linking the various "bosses" to the BBEG otherwise they show up kinda out of nowhere. Anyone have experience with that?

2 - Do folks handle Kingdom events as Kingdom skills or as adventure seeds (or a combination of both depending on time and inclination)?

1. Several of the bosses are connected either by being manipulated or having dreams that motivate actions. I intend to sprinkle clues during varios encounters for an eventual eureka momoment for PC'S

2. Intend to do a combo for kingdom events.

The original adventure path had the BBEG be a bit of a surprise for players, but this version has been altered to explain them a bit more. I would definitely include additional clues at important points during the campaign.

I believe in the rules, non-random events occur outside of Kingdom turns, but I don't remember where I read that. I tend to loop them into a Kingdom turn along with other flavor scenarios, narrating it as the leaders "holding court" and learning about the goings-on in the kingdom.
