Hello there!
I am fairly new to pathfinder and am currently playing in a campaign with some friends.
After some frustrations with my initial build for a kobold character, I found myself struggling to get much of anything done while the Barbarian and Warpriest went unga bunga and basically carried the rest of us.
Aaaanyway! I was looking at Kineticist, they seem very good at blasting, and come prepackaged with some very nice utilities as well.
I've been reading up about Kineticists as well as Legendary Kineticists and their Archetypes.
My DM seems to be alright with using 3pp Kineticist, and even recommended that I go for Legendary seeing as they're more streamlined and given a lot more fun options.
After some discussion with the party, I intend for my kobold to retain his position in the group as the scout alongside our Alchemist. The Alchemist in question intends to unlock her wings at level 6, so I am committed to doing so myself to keep up with her.
Thus far I have opted to play Fustion Kineticist with Viscera primary element to commit towards Unnatural Evolution for wings and other goodies.
Here's the thing... I am not sure what to opt towards for my 2nd element.
My intention is absolutely to aim for Ranged seeing as we are overloaded with melee martialists. In fact I suspect mine is the only ranged character save for our Alchemist, and she intends to go for Feral Mutagen which... yeah.
So a question to the experienced Legendary Kineticists out there?
Words of advice?
Archetype Recommendations?
Ranged Viscera builds that you may have played?
I am open to maybe playing Air too? But growing a pair of wings appeals very strongly.
Thanks in advance!
And full disclosure, I know "Go Human" is the meta strat, but I really don't want to do that.
