Greetings,
this is my first post and i tried to use the search function, but maybe i am dumb or i didn't find anything like this.
My wife want to create an Alchemist/Grenadier and is looking into the Discoveries.
There she found the "Stink Bomb". in our german Expertenregeln (Advanced Players Guide) it says the Alchemist must have Smoke Bomb and level 16.
On D20pfsrd it says:
Stink Bomb
Prerequisite: Smoke bomb discovery
Benefit: The effects of the smoke created by an alchemist’s bomb can duplicate the effects of stinking cloud instead of fog cloud, filling an area equal to twice the bomb’s splash radius for 1 round.
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/discoveries/paizo-a lchemist-discoveries/stink-bomb
I, as the GM can't find an Errate or something else that mentions a rule change for getting rid of the level prerequisition, so i am unsure how to handle that right now. Is the d20pfsrd text correct and only the german translation forgot something to delete?
Kind Regards,
Deaburo

Link to the AoN entry, a more reliable and official source.
The english version should always be the "true" one. Stink Bomb never had a level req (I checked the English first printing), I presume the translator simply copy-pasted the req from Inferno Bomb and forgot to remove the level part.

Thank you so much for your response and that you checked the english rulebook for us.

Derklord is right.
Stink bomb*: The effects of the smoke created by an alchemist’s bomb can duplicate the effects of stinking cloud instead of fog cloud, filling an area equal to twice the bomb’s splash radius for 1 round. An alchemist must possess the smoke bomb discovery before selecting this discovery.
That is the last printing of the book, and it still says the same. AoN is the official online source for the game, so it should be used to check the rules.
The only advantage of D20pfsrd is that it often cites relevant FAQs and sometimes Dev opinions. The negative is that it can't use copyrighted names, so several classes, archetypes, deities and other stuff names are changed in it.| Derklord |

The even bigger negative is that it often omits, changes, or adds text, without any indication. Ranging from using PFS-specific text instead of what the book says, to presenting text from non-official sources like 3.5 books or even forum posts by ordinary people as if it was official PF ruletext.
