Title says it all

I'm not sure there would be a single dominant god among those ysoki that distance themselves from Lao Shu Po's vile teachings. Like most of the other core races, it would depend on what portfolios mattered most to a given community.

That said, ysoki of all stripes seem to put a lot of stock in working with others to overcome the challenges the universe throws at them. That sense of community, teamwork, and ingenuity would likely make Abadar, Hylax, and Talavet all very attractive to ysoki.

The enduring cycles of life and death would earn Pharasma at least some lip service among traditional-minded ysoki. She seems a good choice for the more fatalistic survivors, who distrust excesses of both altruism and selfishness.

Like Tim said, I don't think a majority of Ysoki worship Lao Shu Po.

There are 20 core gods and dozens or scores of other gods. It's unlikely that more than like 8% of any particular race favor any particular god more than the rest.

And unless you're a priest or trying to steer your soul to a very particular afterlife, you're probably not devoting your life exclusively to a particular god anway. You send out a prayer (or curse) to whichever god seems most apropos to your current concerns.

Even those that don't worship her show her a fair bit of respect, even if its "not in the face not in the face" or "may the pinching of my cheekpouches be light" variety.

There's an Evolutionary theory called The Snuggle for Survival. I'd like to think there is a god of Snuggling for ysoki.

snuggle-for-survival.

I wouldn't even say a plurality of Ysoki worship Lao Shu Po. That she is culturally important for Ysoki isn't the same thing as being universally worshipped. At least in my understanding, its a lot more like. . . family is family, and Lao Shu Po is family. She's just the family that most Ysoki hope never visits, and hope they never need to ask a favor, because Grandmother Rat is that family member whose kind of awful. Doesn't mean you don't act polite in family gatherings.

Anyway, the Ysoki are so numerous and so diverse that, even compared with other species, I imagine they don't have anything resembling dominant religious preferences. After all, they don't even all come from the same planet originally, trace their history as a species and you land at multiple independent worlds of origin.

( So why is Grandmother Rat viewed as a "Ysoki deity"? Mostly because Lao Shu Po herself views the Ysoki as "her" people, and so has a broadly more helpful attitude towards them. It makes placation, of the "Kindly Grandmother, May You Find Good Luck And Prosperity ( Somewhere Else )" more viable for them than for most other species. )
