R.I.P. Dusty Hill of ZZ Top

Music & Audio

ZZ Top has been the same three guys since they first formed in 1969, one of only a tiny handful of legacy rock bands that never had a lineup change. Today their bassist, Dusty Hill, passed away at the age of 72, though I haven't come across any details yet.

Sounds like he went in his sleep. Off to the ether with a pair of cheap sunglasses.

I hope he gets top billing for the next month in the afterlife.

My uncle had a saying that cracked me up as a kid. "ZZ TOP is #1 in the top five bands of all time. The other four I havent decided yet."
