It states in the Mwangi Expanse book that you "Choose a common, medium humanoid ancestry," and your human form is replaced with a form to match this choice and you to get Adoptive Ancestry for that choice. Can you choose Human? I would think it's a yes, but the wording of "human form" being replaced just makes it seem a bit weird to me.
It doesn't say you can't...I guess.

Yeah, as far as the 'Human Form' part of it goes it wouldn't have any noticeable effect. But it would give you access to all of the Human feats. I would allow it. It actually feels a bit weaker than just taking Adopted Ancestry at 3rd level since you are spending your Heritage on it.
