If a monster have for example, DR 5/- and player make no type damage (for example, damage from Inject Nanobots spell or a Psychic-Wave Cannon I weapon)
Does DR apply?

I take DR 5/- to mean it resists all of slashing/bludgeoning/piercing, but would not apply it to other damage types that don't specify, like these two.
