First of all, I am LOVING this AP. My players are having a blast, and more importantly, I am having a blast running it!
One thing has REALLY tripped me up - this freakin' book in Bellacora's Study on the third floor. I am on my break at work, so I don't have a lot of time and will make this short:
A player of mine is a necromancer. She will be ECSTATIC about the fact that there will be a create undead ritual in the game, BUT, it's a creature (poltergeist) that they won't be able to summon for 4 levels, and won't even be able to potentially summon them as a minion for 5.
To add insult to injury, they won't be able to move 120 feet from where they're first created!
At first I thought "Well, I guess it's a good hint that poltergeists are later on in the game" but none of them are even created by the ritual that you find!
I'm thinking of changing some stuff around so that it has the ritual to create a Ghoul and basically making the floor some kind of zombie outbreak scene as they uncover clues.
Anyway, just wanted to vent/see if anyone else noticed this.
