Today is the 11th anniversary of the passing of Ronnie James Dio, a person whose music had more impact on me than just about any other heavy rock artist.

Long Live Dio. Long Live Rock and Roll.

Ronnie James Dio grew up in the city of Cortland, NY, which is about 15 miles from where I live.

The City of Cortland renamed the street he grew up on as "Dio Way" in 2011 in honor of the local boy done good.
