Payment Declined, but charges appearing on bank statement

Hi,

Yesterday, I tried to order the leatherbound 2e CRB, and, upon clicking the final confirm button, nothing appeared to happen. I clicked it a few more times, but, again, the page didn't change or update to indicate any kind of confirmation--nothing happened. After going through the whole process again, I saw a message in my cart stating that my card's payment had been declined. I currently have nothing in my account history indicating I ordered this thing seven times...and yet, on my bank statements, I have seven separate pending charges for the book?

I'd love to get some help figuring this out. I have no idea how the payment portal 1. showed no confirmation of purchase, 2. charged me $700 for seven instances of the transaction (???), and 3. stated my payment was declined, listed nothing in my order history, and sent me no e-mails confirming my purchase.

This is a serious issue for me, given the money involved. Please let me know if I can provide additional information over e-mail to verify what happened. Thank you.

When an order is placed, we immediately authorize your card to ensure that it can be charged when we ship your order. An authorization is a non-monetary transaction that merely checks with your bank to ensure that the card is valid and has sufficient funds. Again, no money is charged to the card until we ship your order.

Your card was declined because it did not pass the verification system check. This indicates that there is a discrepancy between the information entered for the card on Paizo.com and the information your bank has on file for the card. Please ensure that all the information entered for the payment method is accurate and then try to submit the order again. If you believe that all your information is correct you will need to contact the issuing bank and let them know what is occurring.

I have reversed these authorizations on our end but please allow some time for it to be reflected in your account and please let me know if I can assist you any further :)
