Hello! We're the Luminant Age team: Andrew Mullen, Mikhail Rekun, and Isabelle Thorne. We're veteran Paizo freelancers, and we've just launched our first Kickstarter: Fauna of the Luminant Age!
The zine is a Weird Fantasy bestiary for Pathfinder 2nd Edition with four creatures, two animal companions, and one familiar. The flavor for these strange beasts are presented via in-fiction narrators from the ruin-strewn world of Iverin, inspired by works such as The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and China Miéville's Bas-Lag series. Fauna of the Luminant Age is also the first of a series of smaller projects leading up to Ourichor: Fulcrum of the Luminant Age, a full-scale Weird Fantasy Swashbuckling campaign setting currently in production. We have been and will be working behind the scenes on this larger world!

We've passed our third stretch goal—the masqued strix will be getting art—so we're adding another! At $1000, we'll add the ashpelt troop, rimepelt, associated familiar and animal companions, and art!
Ashpelts are a common pest, striped monkey-like beasts that'll steal a fish and petal sandwich right from your hands... possibly with the aid of a spell. Did we mention they know magic? Their bigger, baboon-like cousins, Rimepelts, know fancier magic and have inch-long fangs. Perfect for guarding an estate.

24 hours to go before the Fauna of the Luminant Age campaign ends! We've unlocked art for all four of our original creatures, are within spitting distance of adding a fifth section, and are getting closer to adding even more fantastic art from Sinlaire. Check out a preview of the Tetrarchian warhend below, as well as Sinlaire's hend sketches—we think you'll agree the more art we can get, the better!
Help us spread the word and make this project the best it can be!
"There I was perched on the fence, bunch of sharpened spikes pointed up at my nethers, when I saw what was on the other side. Biggest hend I ever saw, more like a blighted bear than a hend, looking right up at me. Thing probably weighed more than I did. I looked at it, and it looked at me, and I looked at it, and then I went right back down the fence. Sure as Angels fly, I wasn’t getting in that way."
