Treasure Earned?

Pathfinder Society

I feel like ive looked everywhere, but for the life of me I don't know where the equation is for how much gold to give for completing... anything. APs, scenarios, quests, anything. Anyone have a link?

Treasure is based on "Bundles". How much a character earns is depends on their level. So a 1st level "bundle" is worth less than a 4th level "bundle". But the amount earned is correct for the level of the character.

This information is found at the end of the adventure as well in the Guide.

For APs, the sanctioning document defines how much is earned.

I'd figured as much, but for the life of me I can't find where in the guide, thus my request for a link.

Edit:: that sounded snooty. I didn't mean it to. I just feel like I'm going crazy because I can't find it lol

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For Scenarios, Quests and Bounties the value of each Bundle is listed in a chart on like the 3rd-to-last page.

EDIT: just noticed Gary ninja'd me >.>

EDIT EDIT: AND again, by 3 seconds! I need more coffee..

*scratches head* i saw that, but while it says sanctioned adventures give mac gold, it doesnt tell what the adventure path actually gives. Max gold in which tier? Levels played or the character it's being applied to?

It is based on the level the character receiving the chronicle. APs can generally be assigned to any character level. This is different from 1e.

That is why they say max gold for the level of the character.

I may have been a little faster to comment, but as always, you have the links needed at your finger tips! Thanks for that!

So then completing an adventure path gives the same hold as completing a single adventure? Or does it triple?

I believe it is 30 bundles for most APs. Each sanctioning document will the exact amount. So yes, triple.

Again, everything is based on bundles.

Thank you both very much by the way. I just want to make sure I understand this before I run an AP for my group-ive currently been playing an AP and the gold on the chronicle just didnt make sense, but I think I get it now

You're welcome. Hopefully the AP is 2e, not 1e.

Lol that thought occurred to me, too, but 1E Chronicles list the gold you earn, so I figured this must be about 2E.

Running that one now. Still in book one. Very fun and the circus part is surprising fun as well.

If you are using Roll20, it is well with the price to pay for the table from them. They did a great job in putting it together.
