Ruffian Rogue unarmed attacks

With the new errata linking proficiency in simple weapons and unarmed attacks, do ruffian rogue gain the agility to make sneak attacks with any unarmed attacks or are they still limited to agile or finesse ones?

I'd like to make a ruffian rogue with martial artist to make a thug who just beats the crap out of enemies. Gorilla Stance/Pound would be perfect for him to pair with Dread Striker, but can he sneak attack with a Gorilla Slam?

No, the ruffian ability still does nothing to unarmed attacks.

Sadly its nothing to do with proficiency. It is part of the definition of the sneak attack ability that if it is an unarmed attack it needs to be Agile or Finesse. So no Gorilla Slam.

Nuts. So I could either ignore stances and stay with the basic unarmed attack, or I go Stumbling Stance, but the follow up feat is useless.

Crane, Tiger, and Wolf stances are also agile/finesse, for what it's worth

crane tiger and wolf lock you out of armor. stumbling stance is your best bet

Stumbling Feint is on the same level as Gang Up so you probably won't feel bad for not taking it.

Stumbling Feint is excellent for a scoundrel that actually has monk dedication instead of martial artist, though.
