Expanded Summon Nature's Ally list?

Rules Questions

I see the list of critters that can be summoned via SNA by druids in the core rulebook.

Did this list grow with the publication of either the Advanced Player Guide or the Beastiary 2?

thanks!

The gods forbid the summoning of badgers, for they are blasphemous beasts.

Yeah... Though you could probably swing summoning something else as long as its an animal/elemental/vermin of the same CR. Kinda disheartening that you can't summon up interesting animals from the advanced beastiary- though most of those monsters fall under the 'crazy go nuts' category.

Bestiary 1 animals seems like they were carefully rebalanced, some might even say 'nerfed', to fit their rolls as foes, Summons and Compainions. The same might not have been done for animals in later monster books.

EDIT:

Adding new monsters to the summon monster lists is a great house rule. And we add a few here and there in the deity articles we print every four volumes in Pathifnder. But beyond that... we are unlikely to officially expand the summon spells with new Bestairies. Just not a direction we're interested in going.
