Unable to Place Order for Humble Bundle 2E Physical Book

Hey folks. I sent you an email but got no response so here I am.

I'm trying to get my physical copy of the second edition core rulebook purchased through Humble Bundle a while ago. While in the redeem codes section of your website I enter the shipping and payment info and it just asks for the card security code and just goes nowhere. No confirmation email, no messages, nothing.

Reloading the page shows that the payment failed but my bank says no transactions were sent, thus it wasn't a decline more like your system messed up the payment for no reason.

Do you have any other way of processing payments? PayPal would be good, or any other way for me to clear out that shipping payment and ensure the book gets sent. Thanks for your help!

Hi Mauricio,

Apologies about the delay! I had a look at the order and it looks like the card might have been put in incorrectly.

If you go to your Account Settings (https://paizo.com/paizo/account), there's a section called 'My Payment Methods'. You should be able to verify your card information to ensure it's correct. If it was incorrect, go ahead and correct it and I can make sure it's attached to your order so we can get it sent out to you!


Hey Raychael, thanks for the reply.

Nope, the card details are correct; I double-triple checked them and number is good, exp. date is fine.

When I'm going to place the order in the redeem codes section, I select the payment method and then asks for the card security code. I put it in and the spinning wheel loading icon appears and nothing happens. The spinning wheel disappears and that's just it. No mail, no confirmation of payment, no rejection, nothing at all.

As I said, it's just like your system is busted in that area of the site or something. FYI, I'm using the latest version of chrome in incognito mode, not blocking any cookie or using any ad-blocker or any other extension/add-on that would affect site behavior. So, not sure what's going on.

Thoughts or options?

The order is definitely going through, as we can see it being declined for invalid data on our end. We're thinking it may have to do with billing address format, but we're not getting anymore information than that.

In any case, I've gone ahead and waived the shipping and handling cost to bypass the problem. I was able to submit the order so you should get an email confirmation regarding the order shortly!

That's super weird, then again, it's an address in a foreign country, so the validation might indeed be the issue. I'm really grateful for making the order go through, but don't want to cause undue expenses on your end. After all, it's a physical book and I got it with an enormous discount through humble bundle as it is.

Could there be any other way I could pay the shipping fee? Thanks again for your help!
