Class Skills VS Trained Skills? (Newbie Question)

Hello everyone,

I've just started with pathfinder but the rules have confused me. Are class skills the same as trained skills? and if not, what are the differences?

They're different. Each character class has a list of class skills, which give you a +3 bonus if you have at least one rank in that skill. Trained skills are those that you've put at least one skill point into.

Some skills are also "Trained" only. I.E Spellcraft, Use Magic Device, etc can only be rolled if you have atleast 1 skill rank in them.
