To Whom It Mayst Concern,
Mine own nameth is Dealan Thunderstone - I joined the Societie after being rescued from Salvatione's End - I neede naught boreth thee with the details. I rideth and battleth with mine own megagoat Gabros, but oft on missions he is unableth to voyageth with me. Because the Societie forbids having more than oneth bonded companion verie oft he is left aloneth and the long hours of studie and experienceth I hast envested ento fighting with such creatures is for naught. I am hoping to find a waie to lift theseth restrictions and allow Societie members in good-standing to hast more than oneth companion, paying the necessarie credits to keepe said creatures in good health of courseth.

Regards,
Dealan Thunderstone

(To clarify out of character: very often the nature of scenarios means my size huge companion simply can't come - sometimes because there is no room on the transport ship, sometimes because he can't fit through hallways, etc etc - all GMs have been understanding and I simply 'stable' him for that segment of the adventure (Rules as written would dictate my PC stays behind or have my companion rolling Will Saves every /turn/ while I am out of range to potentially 'escape'). There is significant credit, feat, and skill point investment in making a companion build work - it would be great to have some sort of official ruling to avoid losing companions in a 'rules as written' scenario where they simply cannot come and even greater if PCs going this route could spend even more credits to have a small or medium sized companion as well in order to be able to use all those feats every adventure)

I am not sure what you mean by "rules as written".

Pathfinder and Starfinder Society operate on the idea that scenarios cannot be altered, such as adding enemies or giving them abilities outside of their statblock, but to my knowledge there is nothing in Starfinder Society preventing you from bringing your Companion along.

Will a huge Companion have difficulty fitting in a 5 foot corridor? Sure. The squeezing rules tell us it gains the Entangled condition. But it can fit into a space half as wide, which means rounding down to five feet. That doesn't mean you're prevented from bringing it along.

Be sure to invest in an Environmental Field Collar if you want it to follow you underwater or outside an airlock.

Everything is GM dependent in my experience - in one mission I was told there was no room for my huge creature on the tiny transport ship that we had to take - on another the GM let me ride the goat through a chase scene rather than use the vehicles the mission intended.

You are correct about the squeezing rules, but sometimes it still just doesn't work - I can think of a few SFS start locations where the room isn't big enough for a huge creature to be in there with 6 PCs.

This sounds more like GMs not allowing your Companion to come along, rather than a specific Society restriction.

In fact, the Guide even covers this: "if the actions of the PCs before or during an encounter invalidate the provided tactics or starting locations, the GM should consider whether changing these would provide a more enjoyable play experience."

Your "enjoyable play experience" obviously includes adjusting the "starting location" to accommodate your Companion.

Same for if a GM ran for a party of 6 large-sized PCs.
