Bequeathal in the New Faction Reputation System?

Hello,

I was curious if Bequeathal is going to be in the Faction/Reputation System. It was by far one of the best options in the old systems. To be able to transfer boons or Items to another character was very useful for Players who received access to an uncommon item they will never use and GMs who use GM dumps for the games they GM.

It also makes it more confusing how to transfer Keepsakes from Character to Character.

Please bring back Bequeathal... Please.... my GM Dumps have too many items in their houses and Marie Kondo is telling them to throw the stuff away.

A good question. I hope it will be part of the AcP. I like to think it will be cause it was added to Year 1.

I personally would like for no new AcP boons issued from the Year 1 guide until after the end of the year because of the confusion that is being caused by having access to purchase boons from Year 1 with fame. Or purchasing a boon from AcP if a character's reputation is high enough.

It also would be nice to see what a character's standing with a faction based on their reputation. Am I Liked? Have I become Admired yet?

The Bequeathal boon was one the best boon concepts in the initial roll-out, especially when it came to encouraging players not to worry about exclusive rewards on specific chronicles. This boon plus the shift to general content unlocks (vs. character specific unlocks) makes it easier to play a character best suited to a scenario instead of the one which might make best use of the rewards.

It would be a shame if it doesn't make a comeback.

What Bequesthal did was to make items available. The AcP is handling the boon side of the sheet. And Avid Collector helps cover some of the items, but at a larger AcP cost (20) than using fame.
