Half Orc with Warcat?

Rules Questions

Only an orc can have a warcat animal companions. Since half orcs have the orc subtype, can they get a warcat companion? Thanks!

"Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race." --yup, you're golden.

Yea the racial trait Orc Blood states half orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.

Fairly new to actually playing Pathfinder, and I tend to like abusive builds, so THANKS!

I don't think a warcat is orc only? Also, I don't think it's "abusive" by any stretch. But word of advice, if you're new to Pathfinder you you'll save yourself some trouble by building characters who fit the level of optimization of the group and the campaign.

There is nothing in the book that says only orcs can have a Warcat of Rull companion. However, they appear to only live in a small orc-dominated region, and only one clan of orcs is stated to use them as animal companions. The book says "The Ice Tooth tribe has a sizable population of half-orcs" and that "most are raised to be traders", so a half-orc character with a werecat companion that's far away from the clan's homelands (the boarder between Belkzen and the RotML) is easily imaginable. If the character comes from that orc tribe.

I mean, I'm a stickler for the setting but I'd allow it for a PC with a sufficiently good backstory.
