Unable to complete purchase

Good day. I am unable to complete my purchase because your system keeps adding the four digit extension to the postal code. Unfortunately my small, local credit union doesn't use this for its card verification process. Instead it only uses the base 5 digit code. Is there a way to NOT add that extension for the billing address? I can see that having it be part of the shipping address but to FORCE add it to the billing without an option to not add it makes it so i simply cannot order from you.
