Dispelling Magical Hazards

Rules Discussion

If a hazard or trap has the magical trait but doesn't mention Dispel Magic under it's Disable block nor does it have a counteract level - can it be successfully dispelled?

Does the Magical trait inherently imply that Dispel Magic can counteract it? Or does it need to be specifically called out in the hazard stat block that it can?

Counteracting a Magical Hazard on page 521 CRB says "Some magical hazards can be counteracted using dispel magic and the counteracting rules found on page 458. These hazards’ spell levels and counteract DCs are listed in their stat block."

That's backed up on the Hazard Format example (p. 522) that says "if the hazard can be counteracted, its spell level and counteract DC are listed in parenthesis" in the Disable section.

So it looks like it does need to be specifically called out in the hazard stat block because just being magical doesn't mean dispellable.
