I heard it was picked up, that is what got me interested in seeing it.
Well THIS is finally a thing. Its amazing if you haven't seen it. The best adult animated musical about hell ever. Its.. oddly uplifting.

I love that the songs advance the plot, the plot isn't just there to justify the songs. You see poor Emily trying to make Sir P happy with every trick in the book and it's just not working... too well. The Eggs Over Heaven worked well. In the background Sir P is ripping heaven apart for spare parts to build his drilling to hell machine (I am rather worried about where he got that unicorn horn handle for his throttle....)

There is one thing that hasn't been said that could become a root of fear in Heaven.
The fact that a Sinner can be redeemed means you're still being judged. The Assumption till now has been Heaven and Hell are the end points. If you made it, you are done. Final Destination
Except now there is proof in Heaven's face you aren't done and the idea that a Sinner can be redeemed and enter Heaven is one thing and certainly to be celebrated.
But the unasked question is "Can the Heavenly Fall?" and for some that question will become "Can I Fall?" They aren't going to say it out loud, but it's going to rattle around in their heads. Sir Pentious isn't just a symbol of Redemption he is the suggestion that maybe even Heaven isn't forever.

In the angels defense, I don't think Redemption WAS possible until the midpoint of season 1
I think Adam made redemption possible when he wrote out his list. Nice job fixing it villain.
Adam has these gold bits of paper that he writes on. I THINK those are pages from the book of life. We first see them when adam writes )(#$$ you I do what I want" and showed it to Charlie.
The next time we see it, it's when Adam was asked "How DOES a soul get into heaven?" Now narrative speaking, there's no reason he should have written the answers down instead of saying them. But much like a kid who didn't do their homework, he starts writing it down as if he knew the answer all along.

Charlie tries to argue that angel has done this. But its sir P that does it in spades
We know Sir P doesn't steal because we see him paying for his weapons shipment from carmalita.
He acted selfless in not only buying everyone in the bar a drink.. and the other thing he offered everyone in the bar... But in dying to save his friends which he did by...
Sticking it to the man. Which Adam himself pointed out, is literally THE man. In the most epic way possible with a dirigible mounted deathray.
If you watch the trial of Charlie scene , the list seems to port ITSELF into Emily's hand. She's not reaching for it, or gesturing for it to summon her. The list either puts itself, or some other power puts it there. She looks down surprised to see it and it gets her thinking.
Theres some other factors working in his favor. We see that he's not particularly evil... he might have been the least evil person sent to hell. He's not under contract like angel is, and most importantly he died.. double died? you may need to be dead to get a judgement redo. he also died making up for his exact specific sin of standing on the sidelines.

A Sinner, even an Overlord would not have the power to grant his request. Nor would they want to as it would, by definition, mean making him more powerful than they were.
So....She is not what she appears to be.
Yeah that was some nice payoff on just about every front.
