Damage to Characters

Am I missing something but the damage seems pretty low to like punch characters. Is it multiplied somewhere like how starship damage has a multiplier against non-starship targets that I am missing somewhere?


Mechs are supposed to be usable against normal enemies and PCs so probably the lowish damage is intentional- The number of actions per turn would be what makes it a threat.


It's not like they ever did this with vehicles or giant monsters. It would be weird and wouldn't make sense if they started doing this now.
