Right before I went into work today, I got an email saying that my card was declined. So after scrambling a bit, I think I succeeded in fixing what was wrong, but my main concern is two-fold:

1) I see that the payment was attempted twice, and failed twice. How many times and when are payments attempted? I actually see in my bank account two pending charges for the expected amount, though if these were declined, I'm not sure why they'd show up at all? So are these the actual payment going through? If so, why is it showing up twice?

2) I'm really worried that this payment issue has knocked me out of my spot in the queue and I'll have to wait longer to receive my pdfs and the physical books of my subscription. It's not a huge deal, given that the street date is just around the corner, but it would be nice to know so I have a good expectation set.

Hi Morari,

Thanks so much for your patience as we have had a large influx of messages. It looks like the duplicate pending charges you saw were authorization failures from the billing address on your card not matching the billing address you have on file. This doesn't typically move you to the end of the shipping queue, but can delay shipping by a couple of days. Let me know if you have any other questions!
