Can a familiar with manual dexterity fly a broom?

If I'm a slow, heavily armored fighter with Spellcasting Dedication and Double Slice, and need both hands whilst flying around on a magic broom, can I have my familiar with manual dexterity fly the broom for me while I cut up the baddies?

I'd spend one action to direct the familiar, who would fly the broom. Then I would use my remaining two actions to Double Slice.

Might make for a fun visual: Monkey duel-wields broom and knight warlock with duel swords.

Not unless the Familiar can also Speak clearly in some actual language in order to use use the Command Activation. They can interact with it just fine but as far as I can tell the Character who is "driving" the Broom must be the one who activates it and it doesn't stipulate in any way in which you can "swap roles" while it is in use.

So, a Raven, Parrot, or other talking Familiar would probably work for this.

So it is possible then? The little beasty just needs the Speech familiar ability as well? Sweet!

The Familiar can Activate it, sure, but you'll fall off. The effect states that you must clutch the broom with 2 hands to ride it. The passenger is still riding it, and as such, must clutch it with 2 hands.

Edit: Actually, both TheMetricSystem and I are wrong. That's only for the Activation effect. The Broom moves at a Fly Speed of 20 Feet with no Activation, requiring only 1 hand to guide it.

A silent Familiar with Manual Dexterity would work for that.
