Rumors and conspiracy theories

We just started a Rise of the Runelords AP and I have a character who spouts random conspiracy theories/rumors and I've been trying to tie in something from a bunch of AP's but not give any spoilers. Here's some so far, based on the AP's 'm most familiar with. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated:

Curse of the Crimson Throne
Heard the old king in Korvosa found himself a young new queen. They say the king turns into a giant reefclaw every full moon, wonder what the new queenie will think of that.

Giantslayer
In the Five Kings Mountains is a swamp filled with the ghosts of dead druids that lure people to their deaths. They'd get away with it too, except for this group of 4 brave kids and their dog.

Ironfang Invasion
Did ya hear Molthune's recruiting goblins to fill the rank's of it's armies. Who would have though that lot that would be the progressive ones.

Rumors of a nasty new cult up in Numeria would be a fun one for Iron Gods.

Kingmaker: A new kingdom has started up between Pitax, Mivon and Brevoy. The other countries are bristling and shoring up their border defenses.

Note: Some of these assume you're following the rule of APs happening chronologically based on their release dates and that Rise of the Runelords happens in 4707 AR.

Reign of Winter
"Did you know the Queen of Irrisen gets replaced exactly every 100 years? No one knows what happens to them. The way I hear it, the current one's got 6 years left. I wonder if she'll put up a fight..."

Wrath of the Righteous
"I hear they finally called off the Fourth Crusade up at the Worldwound. Someone told me the Worldwound's actually been closed for decades now and the whole thing is actually just a trick by the Queen of Mendev to keep money and soldiers coming in!"

Mummy's Mask
"Did you hear? The Pharaoh of Oririon actually made it legal for people to investigate the tombs and burial sites! Can you imagine all the treasure to be found in those places, just ripe for the taking!?"

Hell's Rebels
"I was out on a business trip not that long ago and stopped in this city called Kintargo. Lovely city. I swear, you almost couldn't tell that it's part of Cheliax!"

Carrion Crown & Strange Aeons
"A pal of mine went off to Ustalav to join some kind of research project. Apparently that's a popular business in those parts. You wouldn't catch me dead there though; the whole country gives me the creeps!"

Ruins of Azlant
"Some fellow tried to sell me a plot of land on some Andoran colony out in Azlant. I won't lie, the idea of living on some paradise island does sound nice..."

War for the Crown
"Ever since the Grand Prince of Taldor's son died, he's got no heir! Last I heard he was trying to match his daughter with some general or some such. A military leader in charge of Taldor again? That could get messy..."

Tyrant's Grasp
"You have to wonder what the point of Lastwall is at this point. If the Whispering Tyrant was going to break out he'd have done it by now! Well, I guess so long as they're keeping the orcs busy..."
