Membership requirements help

Hopefully I am in the right place to ask this.

So I was looking at the Character Guide and was trying to understand the Membership Requirements into organizations. I have decided to really dive into some of the lore of the Pathfinder Setting and really enjoy the Lastwall setting and the Knights of Lastwall.

The accepted Alignments LG (LG, NG; Shining Sentinels) or CG (any non-evil; Crimson Reclaimers)

So why is listed like LG (LG, NG)? Does this mean if I wanted to be a Shining Sentinel I can be either LG or NG? I am just lost at why it is written the way it is.

The first Alignment is the Alignment of the organization as a whole, the ones in parentheses are those acceptable for individual members. So the Shining Sentinels as a whole are LG, but accept LG or NG members.

Ok thank you. I was curious. Now the next question, this is in reference to Society play could I technically be of any alignment purchase the Secondary Initiation boon?

I am looking to doing a Champion or Fighter of Pharasma that wants to join the Knights of Lastwall.
