Where are the rules for negative healing?

Rules Discussion

I basically understand how it works, but I've not been able to track down the formal statement, since it doesn't appear to be in the monster abilities section of the bestiary. Can anyone help me find it?

It's part of the definition for the negative energy trait.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

The rules are in Bestiary 2. They were accidentally omitted from the first one.

Quote:

Negative Healing

A creature with negative healing draws
health from negative energy rather than positive energy.
It is damaged by positive damage and is not healed by
positive healing effects. It does not take negative damage,
and it is healed by negative effects that heal undead.

Thanks.

To be clear, since isn't stated explicitly:

Only effects that specifically gives healing, gives healing.

(Just because an effect has the negative trait doesn't mean it heals undead)
