Question about Yoon (Occult Adventures 2 CD) 's power

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

Hi,

There is a power on Yoon (Occult Adventures 2 class deck) that I'm not sure if I understand correctly. The power in question is: "When you reset your hand, after you draw cards, you may set aside an equal number of random cards from your discard pile, bury 1, and shuffle the rest into your deck"

I'm most confused about the "equal number" part. Is that referring to the number of cards drawn? i.e. if I drew 3 cards (to meet my hand size), I may take 3 cards from the discard then bury 1 and shuffle 2 of them into my deck?

Or does "equal number" mean splitting my discard pile in half?

Thanks.

I am not sure, never played with Yoon, but it may mean either of the two things:
1) equal number = number of cards drawn (much more probable)
2) equal number = hand size (I think this is improbable)

Splitting of discard pile in half is definitely not it, sorry :)

This is clearly the number of cards you draw (i. e.: how many cards where missing in your hand - vs your hand size - at the hand of your turn).

The idea is that you can heal no more than you actually played/lost since your last turn.

It makes it imposible - on purpose - for you to just skip a turn (keeping your hand full) to heal.

Got it. Thanks! That was my initial interpretation but I wasn't sure.
