Reign of Winter - Backup Character Concept

Advice

Ok, here's the deal.

I go into most campaigns with my weekly group, sporting a backup character concept ready to drop in on a moment's notice. (I have a habit of having my character die so frequently, usually for perfectly valid, in-character risks that just don't end up paying off, that it has become a running joke with the group. So much so, that for one game, I actually had a character whose back-story included dying twice.)

This time, we've started Reign of Winter, and while I have a high level concept for my backup character, I'm completely stumped as far as putting it together.

I can't even seem to pick a starting class.

My current character is a gunslinger (bolt ace) born in 1780s America, whose heavy repeating crossbow has been re-skinned as a Girandoni Rifle. (No stat or rule changes, it's a crossbow for all intents and purposes, except visuals.) He was, unknown to the character, transported to Golarion by Baba Yaga, and he's going to end up taking some Vigilate (warlock) levels as he eventually starts gaining powers from her while they try to find and free her. We've just met the Black Rider, and taken the portal to Irissen.

My backup character, should he die, is going to be his daughter (adopted when he married a woman from Heldren, whose husband had died years before he arrived), sent from an a future in which the party *failed* in their task, with the goal of reversing that fate. (Yes, there's definite shades of Terminator in there. Ignore it. I didn't realize it until well after I'd settled on the concept.) In her future, Irissen has *succeeded* in taking over large swathes of Golarion, and many children have been taken to be used as 'insurance' against uprisings.

I have the idea that she'll be a member of the Heralds of Summer's Return, and I thematically like the Vigilante (warlock), but I just finished playing a 'god-build' wizard for Shattered Star, and I'm getting tired of fiddly characters. (Part of why I chose the gunslinger for my starter character.) So I'm looking for something that's relatively simple to run, without a lot of fiddly session-to-session decisions.

I like the idea of a Vigilante, giving her a persona with some level of privilege among Irissen, and her 'heroic identity' fighting against the witches, but I'm open to pretty much anything, with the caveat that I'd like some sort of reliable, fire-based damage output without having the sheer number of options of a wizard.

I've toyed with the idea of a lot of classes, but I can't seem to find the class or combination of classes that really seals the deal for me. I'm looking for help.

My limitations are: 15 point build, Paizo sources only.
For race? Her mother is human, her birth-father is unspecified, so there's a lot of room for 'excuses' for pretty much anything else.

Oh, and I'm a fan of the Harrow decks both as flavor and some of their mechanics. So, while I'm definitely not set on using them, they're more than welcome in the builds. (I even own a physical deck.)
