2e Encounter Calculator

Stay-At-Home has turned me into a raving lunatic who created an encounter calculator in Google Sheets. Don't know if it's useful to anybody, but it's available here if you want to test it out.

It calculates the XP to award the party and the threat level of the encounter based on the number of PCs, their level, and the arbitrary thresholds you set for when an encounter increases in threat level (because to me, an encounter worth 118XP is probably severe, but you can set your own dang thresholds in this calculator.

Does it have data validation? Yes. Is it color coded? Yes. Are there numerous, silly errors? Probably.

I'm adding in some, uh, contextual dropdown menus from AoN, and it might be broken for a while.

Any suggestions would be helpful if you think it needs anything. I'm a teacher, so I have...some time...to work on it.

Yours looks good. You may also want to check out this one (click here) that several people have added to in Google Sheets. It combines a bestiary, combat tracker, and encounter builder. It doesn't have hazards though, but the data, at least, may be useful for yours

It is now upgraded and finished unless anyone can think of other features. It can calculate experience and threat level for any level of party of any size, it can handle standard/elite/weak monsters, simple and complex hazards. It has every monster/hazard from AoN. If you make a copy for yourself, you can add homebrew monsters or update when the AoN SRD adds new monsters or hazards.

So, it appears that lvl -1 mobs break the sheet? (Giant Rat, as an example.)

This looks very useful. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this, I have been to lazy to finish my excel one.
