Dromaeosaur Support Benefit

The Support Benefit of the Dromaeosaur says it counts as being in its space or an empty space within 10 feet of ypur choice to determine whether you and your animal companion are flanking.

I think it's supposed to mean within 10 feet of the space the animal companion is actaully in and not within 10 feet of your character. Is that correct?

Not only is it supposed to be within 10 feet of itself, but that's also what the text already says, "it counts as being in its space or an empty space of your choice within 10 feet" the character's position isn't brought up in that sentence at all.
