So I was reading AoN and can see deities now have “Divine Ability”
All this represents is the choice for one of the mandatory boosts you must pick with the Raised by Belief background
Would it work to make people who select that trait be able to pick a divine ability as their “class” boost as well. Thus allowing certain warpriests to start with the 18 in their attack stat?
Or would this change stumble too much into the “no-brainer background for warpriests” ? I know part of the design aim was to make it so every PC did grow up bullied on a wayang inhabited archipelago...
Oh I tend to agree. But many don’t, especially, it seems, when talking about the Warpriest

I think it was also when I saw divine ability before clicking to follow the link I just assumed it is what I have outlined about rather than for the background boost
