I have a character that I played in a PFS quest on PbP. I then joined an in person PFS group and rebuilt my original character. I have updated the character profile here on the site, but I can't figure out how to change the Name assigned to the character number. Any ideas?

If you've made more than 10 posts with a forum alias - which it looks like you have - the alias name becomes 'locked in' and can't be changed. Just continue playing the character with their new name; it won't affect reporting for the character. If anyone asks or is curious, just explain it the same way you did here.
I know it's irritating but that's about all you can do, I'm afraid. If you decide to do more PbP in the future maybe you could intro your character with, "I go by <new name> and don't use <old name> for <insert any number of reasons from serious to silly>" ?

If you rejoin PbP, just use a new alias with your desired name, but report using your original number.
I created a Playtest character that I wanted to continue into 2nd Edition, but their name was obviously taken, so I continue to post using the Playtest alias, but report it under the 2nd Edition ID.
