Barbarian No Escape and moving up to your speed

Advice

If a creature moves, and I use No Escape to follow it, How do we track the ability to keep in reach?
Do we move square by square, accounting for all extra movement such as diagonals?
Can I move past the enemy if I still have movement and it doesn't?

You go square by square until either a) the creature stops or b) you run out of speed to follow. You cannot move past the creature because either A happens and thus the ability ends or B happens and you have no more movement.
