Sharding Weapon & Fragile Weapon Feats

I want to use a fragile chakram with the Sharding magic weapon special ability together with the Disposable Weapon and Splintering Weapon feats. Is this possible?

Liberty's Edge

The only potential area of difficulty I see is that a GM might rule that the duplicates created by Sharding disappear on impact and thus cannot gain the 'broken' condition. I'd probably allow it though. You're circumventing the intent of the feats (e.g. you get extra damage one time by breaking the weapon), but a simple Mending cantrip allows that too.

That said, note that Sharding effectively reduces the range increment of the chakram from 30' down to 10'. Also, I don't think you could get the effects of both Disposable Weapon and Splintering Weapon on the same attack... it would have to be one or the other.

Totally missed the changed range increment, but that's not devastating for the build. I can drop the splintering weapon feat and use bleeding critical instead, so that works out. I'll talk it over with the GM. Thanks for the reply!
