The dying conditions says you are prone and unconscious. Page 459 of the Core Rulebook says unconscious creatures take a –4 status penalty to AC, Perception, and Reflex saves, and have the blinded and flat-footed conditions.

So are you taking a -4 to AC, or a -6? Being prone makes you flat-footed. Being flat-footed also makes you flat-footed. I'm wondering if that's been accounted for in the -4 penalty or not.


Unconscious gives a status penalty, flat-footed gives a circumstance penalty. So it's -6 AC total.

I mean that's still pretty good for being totally helpless, especially given Coup De Grace isn't a thing.
