I'm running a RotR Anny game and one of my players had some atrocious luck and got smoked in Thistletop. He wants to bring in a human rogue, and I am wondering if there is a good way to bring him in sooner than later. Any advice for this?

He could be a mercenary or new arrival from Magnimar, coming to protect Sandpoint after the raid- maybe he was sent there by the sheriff, who left for Magnimar after the goblin attack.. If you're still in Thistletop, it's possible that the goblins had a prisoner stowed away somewhere that the PCs could find during their exploration. A rogue is just the type that would go snooping around in a seemingly abandoned ruin, only to get caught by goblins and prepared for sacrifice.
